This chick. I held one this past Saturday, a rose-haired Chilean tarantula, if you want the specifics, and it was adorable. His name was Taz and he reminded me of my gato, Oscar. So…next time you have the opportunity to see a cute wittle tarantula up close—don’t avoid it! They’re awesome.

Friday! I made it :) I just wanted to recognize the fact that I’ve had a Tumblr for a week…which is kind of a big deal for someone who hasn’t ever done anything like this before. This is very interesting, and I’m having a lot of fun.

Nicolas Cage overacts. I think everyone knows this. But still, he’s great at overacting, and I think that’s what makes him so special. Without him we wouldn’t have those crazy screaming moments during Wicker Man, nor the “I’m a Vampire” rants. He’s opened my eyes to a new side of acting: overacting.
So thank you, Nic. I’ll treasure your movies forever, and if ever I have a child (which I won’t) his or her name will be Nicolas.
